Locations in or near the path include Nowata, New Alluwe and Watova. The warning remains in effect until 12:15 AM CST Tuesday.

Nowata, Oklahoma — A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of northeastern Oklahoma through 12:15 AM CST, covering west central Craig County, northwestern Rogers County and southeastern Nowata County.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa reports a severe thunderstorm over Talala as of 11:23 PM CST, moving northeast at 35 mph. The storm is expected to track toward Nowata and Oologah, with Talala in its path.

Radar indicates wind gusts up to 60 mph. Strong winds like these can damage roofs, siding and trees, and can knock down limbs and power lines.
